Parking lot (Where you are.)
This green Parking lot is designed to minimize run-off.(Significance)
Parking lot run-off is a significant cause of water pollution. (Liabilities)
Facts:
1.) Cars are often found in parking lots.
2.) parking lots are named for Sir Reginald parking the Duke of lot.
3.)  There are no known plants or animals indigenous to parking lots.
4.)  If you look to the west, you can just make out the visitor center.

North shore interpretive station

North Shore
In this spring-fed lake, lives the largest population of Ozark Cavefish in the U.S.   The Ozark Cavefish is on the Endangered Species list.
Ozark Cavefish facts:
  1. The Ozark Cavefish is blind and uses the movement of the water to sense it's prey.
  2. The Ozark Cavefish is often found in cave ecosystems reliant on Gray bats for nutrients.
  3. Careless cave exploration is one of the principle causes of ecosystem disturbance, threatening the Cavefish. 
  4. It is dark inside the cave.

Cave Spring
The cave spring is a sensitive ecosystem.
Human disturbance is the greatest risk for the cave ecosystem.
Cave Facts:
1.) Caves are dark
2.) Bats are Awesome
3.) The Gray Bat is endangered.
4.)  Gray Bats like to eat Mosquitoes.  Thank you Gray Bats!
